My dearest Molly,
It was so sweet of you dear to send those beautiful flowers for my Dad’s funeral at Forest Lawn. He always liked you so much and I know how much you liked him. My eyes are almost closed shut with weeping, even now. Poor Dad suffered so all this year. We did everything possible to save his life, but to no avail. My health is still bad, and my doctor advised me not to attend Dad’s services. I hope wherever Dad is that he will understand. How are things with you now, Molly? Hope you and yours are feeling fine. Write me soon. Love,
Clara
